Research interests

My current research interests revolve around probabilistic groundwater modeling and innovative applications of machine learning in water science. I specialize in using numerical modeling to understand the mechanism behind the formation of mineral deposits. Since 2012, I’ve worked with Australia’s national science research agency, the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO), to help tackle Australia’s national water challenge.

I am visiting the Survey to develop collaboration among CSIRO Land and Water, WGNHS, the UW–Madison Department of Geoscience, and the U.S. Geological Survey. I look forward to contributing to projects led by WGNHS where they align with my expertise.
